I got a letter from the Waikato DHB today telling me I have been placed on a neurology department waiting list. Expected waiting time? Two to six months, unless my condition worsens, in which case I should go see my doctor.
Three-point-five months it took for my name to travel one kilometre as the kiwi flies, from the consulting rooms to the hospital; I don't like my chances...
