Just occasionally, the Consummate People-Watcher gets a wee bit tired of looking at the back of everything and everyone. Going shopping? Everyone walks faster than she does and they leave her behind. Ordinary daily activities like work or school? She's standing still while it all walks away from her. Socialising and going out? Lights out, no-one's home.
The Consummate People-Watcher, once upon a time, had a life; now all she has is a bird's-eye view of the arse end of everyone.
Some of those arses are really not all they're cracked up to be...
