Thank God we finally got some rain - I was freaking out that I'd have to drag the hose around the house and water everything and that would involve an expenditure of labour I'm too damn sick to manage. Just walking around inside the house is mission enough; parenting is out of my league. The weather makes sleeping extra de rigeur in this house; and less guilt-ridden, if that's possible. I wouldn't mow the lawn in the rain anyway.

At least the rain will make the plants grow, bulbs flower and make sure the lawn and trees are green.
